  • Another good haul at the JY

well it was only 23 today but it was sunny and not snowing. I saw they got a new 90 Festy at the yard and had to go check it out. Turned out it was an L Plus with only 41,000 miles on it. Looks like the only reason it was there was because the LCA on the drivers side popped the ball joint. It had just recently (500 miles prior) had an oil change and was in great shape for the most part..

plus this tracer engine was laying under the car...someone needed the tranny and dropped it all

this hatch was perfect except for the small surface rust just under the 3rd brake light

    door panels are good

    visors were great

got the wiper arms...rust free, speedo, speedo cable, auto dipstick, visors, disty, driver side headlight assembly, interior rear hatch cover

still has a great hatch w/ defrost, no rust at all under the bottom edge...passenger side door is perfect , not even a ding.. drivers side fender...hood..door panels...center console for auto (tan)

I wish that you could....but they will not sell them out of any of the yards around here...
41,000 miles, one dent in the passenger fender and the rear passenger side had rust back by the rear wheel in the normal place. Other then that and the LCA....car was pretty awesome. One of the straightest Festy's I have seen. No dings and such like most Festy's have.

41K, musta bin an old lady car. Amazing to trash it for an LCA.

then it's your duty to strip it bare before it sees the crusher, i'm always looking for a clean interior and it looks like that's something i'd go for (especially since it's tan, i'm trying to revive a tan interior of mine.

i should pay you to go parts hunting for me!!!

interior was all good....except the seats had some burn holes in them. Even the plastic was pretty damn good....only some minor scuffing and scratching. Far less then any I have.

Someone was taking care of this car.

I might go get the interior panels. I wish it wasn't so cold I'd grab the engine and trans.

Geneva, you outta see if they'll sell you all the parts and the shell, without the vin plate, still assembled. Wouldn't technically be selling a car then right? Just a group of parts lol
