Yea that actually wasn't really the driver's fault IMO. I was actually on 70 when this happened and you are driving down the road with a little spitting snow then all of a sudden you can barely see the front of your car ! It was nasty, but I did the smart thing and pulled over into a gas station and waited it out. It was Sunday and I didn't have anywhere to be.:festiva::newb::festiva:

I agree that people need to use common sense when driving in bad conditions but I was not exaggerating about the conditions. It went from partly sunny with a dusting of snow falling to you couldn't see the brake lights in front of you in a snap. It only lasted around 10 minutes but it was brutal for people that were on the highway. The roads just had a little bit of snow blowing on the ground with full view all the road and lines. I stopped as should have alot of other people because it was way to nasty to be driving on.:festiva::newb::festiva:

Wrongfullleaf is correct, it was a freak weather event, nearly complete white out with no warning. There were four such pileups in different area locations around that same time. Very intense little pockets of snow. Only a couple of miles wide. One second you are fine the next second you cant see anything.sigpic
