    Here's some of my latest finds, pretty few so far, and pretty dark don't you think?
    I haven't been doing as good as you, that group shot is fantastic.
    I think the most I've ever seen together was 3...




    For the rest of you...the "magical kind" very small and to you the more "traditional looking" are found growing out of manure, cow or horse more specifically.

    Normal mushrooms like on a pizza I think are disgusting but morrels are totally different.

    Morrels are amazing! I haven't been out yet this year due to a concert this weekend but my buddy up by Chillicothe found 82 on Saturday!! Thank goodness he is a good friend and is probably the best "hunter" I know so we will have a good fish fry here in a few weeks.

    Found a couple dozen yesterday. Thought it might be a good year with all the snow this past winter but not finding a lot. Havent heard of any major finds from anyone else either. May not be a good year for them after all. The brush in the woods is getting so wooly now that they'll be hard to locate before long. If you havent eaten them before you dont know what you're missing.

    you could sell them for good money, but you probably know that. i wish i had the know how to find them, i would sell them for going rate.. $20-25 per pound my brother and dad up in ohio do this

    the only mushrooms i can barely tolerate are magic mushrooms , and thats only becuase of the after effects. lol
