Nice harvest there, Paul. Not sure I'm going to get anything much out of my garden this year. We've had exactly 1 inch of rain here since I planted. Which was before OSX. The weeds in my garden can't even take it.

          Fresh tamaters

Yup 30lbs of tomatos is a lot but this is how you get rid of some of them, hey just my opinion.Well back to the drawing board, the upload of the double stacker B.L.T. didn't come though,i can tell you it sure was good.Eight slices of red ripe tomatos, ten pieces of crispy fried thick sliced bacon, fresh crisp lettuce, half dozen napkins, and a tall frosty glass of A W Rootbeer.yup thats how you do it.

I have had them once. Not sold on them. But root beer? Oh yeah! I know this sounds crazy but at the dollar tree here they sell 20 oz Shasta root beer 2 for a dollar. Blows away every other brand. IBC, barqs, dad's, dr. Browns, etc! It has a vanilla undertone to die for!

Still pumping out tomatoes! I can't believe how little effort gave so much reward. I only watered this garden maybe 6 times. I didn't fertilize at all. I forget about it for weeks at a time. I never weeded it. It has waist high grass in it. But it still is cranking out the tomatoes! This is 17 pounds I pulled today - sept 22!!

Had some maters from the garden today. Probably the last ones. Ive plowed and disked up an other 2000 square foot garden spot for next year. Taking a soil sample to get tested so I can amend the soil with whatever it needs.

Here is one of the biggest Burr Oaks on my place. Its near the garden. Thats the wife under the tree. In case you dont see her in the first pic I zoomed in on the second shot so you'll know where she is at. I had her stand by the tree for size comparison. Its a big Oak ! It had some wind damage at the top a couple of years ago but has come back from that.
