Fox bodies are light. My buddy took it on a scale at a metal recycling place. That is the empty weight he said iirc. That's nuts...it's FWD? I guess maybe because it's a full frame or is it? My buddy has a 350'ed S10 that clocks in right at 3k with nobody in it and it's even a long bed.

i highly doubt it weights 3k lbs. i had a 86 model b2000 longbed,and i was able to take the bed off by myself,mine was carb'd,and after i put a holley carb from a pinto cause the stocker was similar to the festivas,it ran pretty dang good and would pull my boat fine,prob had 70ish hp lol

Looks like a good candidate for a 4.0L V6 swap from a wrecked Ranger donor, or better yet, a nice 5.0L.Brian
