  • New Flat Brown Paint Job

OK so I thought I'd post a few pics of my body work/paint job I finished- not going to the Ford show but looks pretty good to me. Bare w/ me no online account so it will take a few posts to show transformation. So here it is as I bought it stock red.

Final paint job after putting on the flat clear coat. The Mossy Oak Break Up rocker decals & deer silhouette on the hood will come next spring when I start to transform it into a mini redneck rv LoL.

Great Stuff is great stuff, eh?

I used it too on my build, but I didn't use it for forming. Good show!

Thanks for the comments guys Just picked up the Mossy Oak fabric for the door panels, back seat & rear deck tonight. That will be done after I get back from my trip back up to WI but I'll post pics when I'm done. So I'm curious on what you used the Great Stuff for Safety Guy? I love the stuff I must say. LoL we should start a post on what people have all used Great Stuff for around the home on projects. You know MacGyver would have used this stuff along side his swiss army knife, stick of gum & roll of duck tape if it had been around : )>

Looks like a simple red oxide primer job to me.

Dave, I just used it for sound/water/temp insulation in my rear rocker/fender areas as shown in my build thread here:

Members Builds (questions about repair or how to do something belong in the proper forum)

If you're in a hurry, there's a pic near the bottom of the first page. However, I also used it from outside the car to spray into the holes in the outer rocker/fender corner area where my patching was still open to the elements. I used most of two cans full, and covered the outer exposed "stuff" with spray on undercoating.
