I have Iranian friends right around the corner from me. As a matter of fact, most of the district where I live is now filled with arab mosques and stores. Kofta, shawarmah and tabouleh are even more popular than Macdonald's now.
I'll ask them to ask relatives back home.

…. Perhaps IF we had the right influence this might be a little bit more doable than impossible. For example: You could argue the point that for all those that have FESTIE's in this country it would be far safer and more efficient for them to replace them with NEW one's. This way it would allow the manufacturer to get their foot in the door here in the US for that particular product. The numbers would be small but their influence would be established for that particular LINE, MODEL, TREND, etc. Also, because the numbers would be small there would NOT be the PRESSURE for so much profit but more so, so they can show off their stuff . Just some thoughts, thinking out loud. In any event, if any of this were to pass, I DEFINITELY WANT ONE ALSO. YOU CAN COUNT ME IN. :thumbleft:

Nope, Canada doesn't allow imports from Iran.. but it does allow imports from Cuba. Here's the Canadian list that we can't import from:

              Belarus
              Côte d’Ivoire
              Democratic Republic of the Congo
              Egypt
              Eritrea
              Iran
              Iran-Other
              Iraq
              Lebanon
              Liberia
              Libya
              Myanmar
              North Korea
              Pakistan
              Rwanda
              Sierra Leone
              Somalia
              Sudan
              Syria
              Tunesia
              Zimbabwe

One that surprised me is that you guys (I think still can) import from Myanmar, where we can't. Not that I'd know what you'd import from Myanmar.. it's been doing a civil war for quite a while and we're doing sanctions against it for human rights issues.

No matter, we can't import from Iran either. :p

              ...and definitely more soon..

Wonder if any countries in south america get the new car? I know they got the older 4 door hatches, I see video of them still alive and well to this day.
