Yes it is mated to the stock 5 spd with a upgrade clutch :-) Gearing is okay but it could definitely use a 6th gear for highway cruising. The swap was one of 3 that were professionally installed by this company, I think in Toronto? My friend waited a year and a half for it, but the install is done wonderfully, still has A/C too! No cruise control hooked up but I am going to look into what is involved since the controls for it are still in the car. I think the rims would look better if they were painted glossy black, they are a bit flat now. Definitely want to keep the sleeper vibe to it.

I had a berretta about 10 years ago, I liked it, but it was a auto, lots of get up and go for the V6. I have had a 89,91, 92, and a 98 Grand Am, this Cavalier feels and smells just like them. It has a 1" sway bar in the back and the car holds the road surprisingly well. Would like it to sit lower, might tackle that this winter. Already on lowering springs though.

Yeah and the newer Fiero's with the 3800 swap are very impressive, Another member in the club who now lives down in North Carolina has a Black turbo charged 3800 fiero, very fast. I think he puts down close to 500 horsepower, but has a lot of work into it.
