.... Don't know if this is an interference engine or not. If it is, you might want to change the timing belt unless, of course, you have a log book on it. Just something to consider, one timing belt is worth a lot of man hours and expense. What displacement is this engine? I think it might be a 232, not sure.

It should be the 2.2 if it's a '97, and that is the year they went to interference for that motor. Sadly. Prior to 97 they were non-interference motors.Originally posted by boydg1 View Post....
