      .... Don't know if this is an interference engine or not. If it is, you might want to change the timing belt unless, of course, you have a log book on it. Just something to consider, one timing belt is worth a lot of man hours and expense. What displacement is this engine? I think it might be a 232, not sure.

        It should be the 2.2 if it's a '97, and that is the year they went to interference for that motor. Sadly. Prior to 97 they were non-interference motors.

          Yup already planning on it. $200 for a belt, 3 idlers, a tensioner pulley, water pump, front seal and Tstat from rockauto.
          91GL BP/F3A with boost
          13.79 @ 100, 2.2 60' on 8 psi and 155R12's
