I'll have to say.. the acceleration is quite addicting, especially the low end torque...
now i know what 13.3 at 107 feels like... so now i need to build a festiva to do that.

If you're going to own one, that's a good one to own! Other than some fit & finish and quality issues with the interior, I think the C5 was a pretty good car. The LS1 is a darn good motor. The best part is how well they respond to minor mods.

there are sure a lot of LSx mods out there. of course, they are a little more pricey than we are used to with older mazda upgrades and such.
shoot, anything from headers to cam swaps can bump these up quite a bit.

I like the color on that Vette!

It seems as though you got quite a deal because someone else did not plan too well on their choice of car vs. their ability to pay for upkeep and so forth.

Reminds me of a woman who somehow bought a new late eighties Chrysler LeBaron or something like that when she really couldn't afford it. Then she got into a minor front end fender bender and the headlight covers got jammed CLOSED.

                  She worked at night.

She had problems even before then on just showing up for work.

She thus had very little money...

Ya'll figure out how that story ended!

bunch of haters up in here

the vette is an awesome vehicle, bang for buck there is nothing that comes close in terms of handeling, reliablity, power, and all out awesomeness...

                    Congrats!

I used to have a 92 LeBaron! headlights in those were tricky anyway, you had to "tap" the button JUST right, NO not like that, like this, NO IT OPENED THEN CLOSED AT THE SAME TIME no just TAP it like THIS..

god I loved that car. I think I was the only person who ever really got them to work when I wanted them to every time.

Nice score man, I love Vettes.. like really, really love vets! They are the epitomy of a "sweet ride" in my mind! I would have owned one already, (one in a junk yard a couple years ago guy wanted 800 bucks for no motor and busted pass. fender/bumper) but I'm afraid once I finally get one, it's not going to live up to my expectations, and cause me to go into a depression and give up on vehicles altogether.

Now thats a great pair of cars, old tech and new, the yard looks well taken care of also. The wheels on the Stang, are they Torque Thrust or a variation from another maker, the c6 wheels do look better. Good job.
An idea can turn to dust or magic, depending on the talent that rubs against it.
