I been lookin', all I found is ticks so far.

I upped the mushroom ante today. Weird year, its March and Ive seen mushrooms, lighting bugs, and June bugs today. Least winter snowfall ever here , + warmest March in 102 years. Havent had a frost in a month, weird I say !

Al Gore was at it the other day, talking about Global Warming being the reason for our great winter weather, wait till next year, colder than the hubs of heck and lots of snow.

"Hubs of Heck", I like it ! That was the two prior winters when we got record snowfall. Go figure

Well i knew it had to come to an end, after all the nice weather, the weather man is now saying we are in for a light freeze, our Tulips look great, The Tulip Festival will be a fun time again this year, just no Tulips, they are in full bloom now and will be gone when the festival starts, there's always next year.

Dont that beat all ?!! The forecasters are predicting 36 degree here tues morning. They havent used the F words yet. The last two weeks of 80 degree temps here coaxed eveyrthing out of the ground just in time to get frost bit. All Ive planted so far are cold weather stuff ( cabbage, cauliflower, onions, spinach, peas, etc ) they will take a light frost or freeze hopefully. Next Tuesday morning ( 4/10 ) is also the average last day of frost for my location. That means there is still a 50% chance of a frost after that date. Pics of my Tulips.

You could drive here to STL, and we could mini-convoy to "The Festiva Ranch"!

Maybe he would let us gig some frogs.

I'm sure he has a fire pit. We can gig frogs, catch fish, gather whatever vegetables he'll let us and have a big time! I'll bring my instruments, my PA, and you and I can play into the night around the fire. I don't know when we can come. I've been hoping to for a long time. I plan to pull it off one day.
