Hondaslayer, lemme guess at the handguns on the left in your first pic:

Some kind of nickel plated Smith revolver
    P.38
    Colt Pocket Model
Some kind of FN auto (or a Savage?)
    Older FN auto
    Hi-Standard Sentinel revolver (.22 9 shot?)

Also, is that a Universal Carbine?

I've posted these a long time ago about my trip to San Fran, but I think they're worth drooling over again:

WWII Ford Jeep with a Ma Duece (certainly dewat, as this IS California):

M1 Garand in the dash scabbard:

And another M1 rifle in the back that you can't see, plus these two bayonets for them:

Ah, see the buttstock peeking out?:

Talk about "the whole package" to go shooting in the back forty! Well, add a Government Model .45 and a Carbine...

Oh, I found this guy and his Jeep when I was walking back to my friend's house after a trip into town. He knew his military vehicle stuff!

You're telling me! I really got lucky that day, especially considering the state I was in!

As for the bayonets, IIRC one was WWII production specifically for the Garand, while the other one with the full length fuller, was cut down from a long Springfield (WWI) bayonet. Which, if I'm right, would fit the Krag rifles, 1903 Springfield, and the Garand. Not sure on the Krag though.

If anyone knows different, lemme know.

        Which reminds me:

I wanna Krag rifle! Preferably an 1896. Just a nice shootin' one. No sporterizing; not a carbine: a rifle. Reblued or lost collector's interest okay, since it's for shooting, not looking at!

I think the top one is a M1903 Browning. Nope I was wrong, its a M1900 Browning! Designed by John Browning in 1896. First production handgun to use a slide. .32ACP. One was carried regularly by Teddy Roosevelt. You got a real keeper there. Don't screw with it, like tryin' to clean it up or polish it.

The bottom one is a Ortgies, made in Germany in the 20's. Also .32ACP. Nice , but not very valuble. Google both if you want to learn some more. Check out Wiki. The Browning could be valuble, depends on the shape its in. The .38 I can't tell. What are the markings on it?

BATF specifies a minimum barrel length of 16.25" for long guns and shot guns, so no, we can't have it. Boo.

Ah, that 1900 Browning is so cool! John Moses Browning knew his stuff, what with multiple lever, pump, semi-auto and automatic firearms still in wide use today. All around 100 year old designs!

The Colt 1911 and the Browning M2 .50 BMG heavy machine gun (like on the jeep) are two of the better known ones.

I guessed the Ortgies as soon as I had a closeup.

As for the revolver, it is a S&W pattern, but could be a European copy for all I know. I'm not sure if S&W usually had their trademarks covered by engraving or not. You might try taking off the handles and looking underneath. Also, the pins above each end of the trigger guard don't look right for a Smith. It's as if there is a piece that comes out the bottom, which could be a different design from Smith. I'm not familiar with older Smiths so I can't say, but the shape of the trigger guard is not quite "Smith" enough to look familiar. The whole thing screams early 20th century to me; probably teens or twenties if not earlier.

A lot of Spanish companies made Smith knockoffs back then, IIRC.
