The master cylinder reservoir and the grill appear 'custom' to me. Could this be a Canadian car?
look new. The grill is original and is a little thicker at the top
than mine used to be. How do you ID a Canadian?Reflex paint by Langeman...Lifted...Tow Rig

I've seen that MC on several festivas in junkyards, I believe its an aftermarket one or maybe one from a newer vehicle. Most of the ones I've seen have been on new-ish looking MCs, but they are festy MCs, not one from another vehicle (Aspire/Escort/etc).No festiva for me ATM...

'89 Auto is the perfect candidate for an early 323 engine swap too, using the factory 1.6 engine controls (vac adv dizzy, 3 plug ECU and everything). After seeing how well an '89 auto runs, I'd assume that an '88/'89 B6 using the same controls would run quite well also.No festiva for me ATM...

I was surprised how much pep my 1989 auto has. It will chirp the tires shifting to second. Not as free reving on the hwy as a five speed but a great car in town. Congrats on the nice find and welcome to the site !!sigpic
