Unfortunately right now its stock brake pads, or the cheapest replacements from autozone. Hawk was one of the sponsorships for the event so we were required to have their sticker displayed.

Awesome pics! Will you be repairing/replacing the front end, maybe adding some tubular chassis upgrades to stiffen the car for the BP swap?

Yeah, I didn't think they were available for our cars (Aspire or Festy).
Love your light bar config by the way!
We did put an Aspire brake master/booster on Tims Festy and that made a substantial difference.
I'm surprised you don't see more guys doing that, plenty of them and real easy to do.

Am I wrong, or are you guys getting getting "classed" or awarded together/against the G5 guys..
        G5 times can beat your G2 times/money?

Amyway Rock on brother, I'm hoping to be at the northern Michigan Rally America kick off for 2013 (last weekend in Jan every year) any chance I'll see you there?

Performance Friction makes a sport compound pad for aspire auto calipers. They are awesome road coarse pads, but may not be ideal for rally because their wet performance isn't as good as cheap parts store organic pads.

How are they on the street? I'm running with auto Aspire brakes on the front.

Perryville, MO race update! Was done around October 20th

We found our problem, apparently it was a broken VAF, it was stuck closed.

Lining up and picture time before the race. I'm the one on the left.

              Ready to go.

Buuuuuuut, we timed the engine wrong and were only able to make it through 1 stage. I wish I had a picture of it but we blew up a spark plug, melted it in half.
No pictures from stage 1 to stage 3. Everyone seemed to be on stage 4,5,6 for this show. Here's one across the finish, me being goofy here...

              Hit the 3-wheel motion.

                      12/23/12 RallyX update in Salem!

We got us a BP engine and all the parts except for the plugs (haven't checked it all out yet). This was the last bout for our little B3 before we take it out, we'll likely clean it and use it as a backup. Funny thing is even with the Subaru STIs and Lancer Evos that were there we were still able to pull top 5 times out of 25 cars the whole day, guess they just don't know how to drive hmmmmmm. the last 3 runs of the engine we were running low on gas and a few strange things happened though including the main engine fusable link failed, we replaced it and then our fuel pump decided not to work anymore, checked all the quick things but the engine is coming out anyways, probably need to replace the wiring harness :/. Here's some pictures throughout the day though.

Single red wheel. I think I saw on facebook that you pulled that off an old 60s Ford Falcon?

Lol I wish i had it but we shared our vehicle with someone else, so we don't have the gopro video... I did get a Swann HD freestyle for Xmas so we'll be using that as our video. If I can grab that video from my friend I'll post it in the Video sections.

Gotcha I actually have the whole build of the cage i believe somewheres.

Edit: Alright, as requested, all the pics of building the cage from start to finish.

Better pictures of the doors are on some of the others, I really dont have much after that, it was mainly just welding an X shape into it from main to front hoop. If you have any quesitons im going to pick it up from the field (pictured above) tomorrow and i'll be happy to snap a couple...
