Hmm....that is pretty odd. Maybe Canadian 6cyl cars all had 5-lug wheels ? IDK. Glad to see you back. I love your white Festiva, it's so clean looking.

AHHHH wires....oh well snip some here, trim some there....
Coming along slowly...
Hey does anyone know off hand where the oil pressure sender is on a BP? I am thinking of putting in a gauge instead of just having the dummy light...90 festiva BP/G25MR swap, spec v seats, aspire brakes, FMS springs, round headlight conversion with HID's, custom exhaust, fiberglass hood, and a whole lotta bodywork

Well installed a T and the sending unit for the dummy light and for the gauge. Also got the wiring all cut and recovered... looks way cleaner now... relocated the coil and a few other things under there too..

Oil pressure sender should be located in the same area as any B series engine: near the oil filter location.
Here's a link to my build thread and the first pic down is of my B6. You can see the light colored oil pressure spade connector just above my oil filter attachment:
Due to the camera angle, the oil pressure connector is in line with the oil filter hole. It's light color is probably due to the camera flash. Your pressure sender should be around the same location. If not, I don't know what to tell you!

Well engine is back together, hopefully put the tranny back on and sort of mount it up tomorrow so I can start on the modified rad brackets. I took friday night off from the car and went out to look at another new toy for myself... And of course I had to buy it... its Yamaha ttr125le. Its by no means huge but it will be a good learner and trail rider for me to get the family out more... got it for a decent deal so it will prolly just get a good cleaning and be back on kijiji in a couple weeks...lol...

any reason why your running 2 harnesses in the car? the factory festiva harness can run the bp no problem...

I believe there is only one harness now that I've looked through everything. I just tried off ask the unused connections. The reason for the two large looms going through the firewall is that one carries my large cables for having the battery mounted in the back of the car and the other is the actual harness.90 festiva BP/G25MR swap, spec v seats, aspire brakes, FMS springs, round headlight conversion with HID's, custom exhaust, fiberglass hood, and a whole lotta bodywork

Well just my luck I got my car back together and running, cleaned up all my wiring, installed an oil pressure and volt gauge, then went down to get insurance on it so I could start driving it... And whaaaammmooo...
Stupid snow... it started about 20 minutes after I had paid for the insurance... so now she sits again just waiting for the roads to melt and clean up again.... arrrggg this weather is sure frusterating this year....90 festiva BP/G25MR swap, spec v seats, aspire brakes, FMS springs, round headlight conversion with HID's, custom exhaust, fiberglass hood, and a whole lotta bodywork

I didn't even bother putting my winter tires on this year... but I don't know if that's cause I didn't need to, or cause im lazy...
