I did get a functional winch mounted and hooked up this weekend! I have some plans for the metal sticking out and also gonna have my brush gaurd tied in, it will help protect the front of my car from what the winch will be doing.
I was feeling like crap last night and now I'm feeling even worse, so I'm definitely sick. Hope it goes away soon.
I already drilled a couple holes up through the radiator support, I just need to grab a couple bolts to stick in there.
Basically I'm just waiting on a welder so I can fab the brackets for the roller fairlead.

Digging the old school Hoist,that has to be from the 40's ? Looks like a one off piece,look how you can adjust the rear caster height, too cool.Where the heck did you pick that beast up Matt?Some people like to read fiction,I prefer to read repair manuals. Weird I know-

Its home made, no adjusting height but it rolls pretty good, grease fittings on all the wheels. He made a new hoist with an ibeam so he just wanted this out if his way, so the price was right. He's used it a lot everything from 4 cylinders to 460's. I'll probably find a new home for it and buy another one after i get a couple uses out of it.2008 Kia Rio- new beater

It looked like the shaft for the caster could slide up and down and the be held in by place by a bolt. Anyway its a beast, you want find one that strong at HF thats for dang sure. I imagine that 460 is gonna find a new home in your Pick Me Up...Some people like to read fiction,I prefer to read repair manuals. Weird I know-

Lol thanks guys, i thought the same thing about the casters when i first saw it lol..
I got a video uploading to utube right now of a little 650 mile road trip i took recently, its only 12 minutes long but it said its gonna take 280+ minutes to upload! If it goes thru ill post a link but be easy on me thats my first video Ive ever made lol..
