Driving for me is neither a right nor a privilege. Driving is my passion, as it was for the people who invented the automobile, the people who paved the first roads and the people who continue to improve the automobile. Please respect this passion.

I'm festiva-less so I can't join in on the fun in this thread

      1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
      1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

You are still living the dream though. I've heard that you're doing a b6t swap into one.

Angie & Charlie, the wife would like to know who made the Festiva quilt.
An idea can turn to dust or magic, depending on the talent that rubs against it.

He should do a festiva rear suspension swap into his 323!

Angies mom is a second or third generation quilter. Ang helped by making the pattern and providing pictures of Festivas to inspire each panel. The quilt took them several months to make and they presented it to me a couple weeks ago. I love my Festiva quilt.

No thank you, more work then I want to do, plus it already has independent rear suspension lol

Actually if you talking about the video a guy made (seen it on Facebook) showing the flex in the trailing arm of the festiva, I have no arguments there, I just have no intentions of installing a festiva trailing arm into my 323

Yeah, you can't really reap the major benefit of a trailing beam unless the car was designed and built with one to begin with. The BF chassis is already reinforced for the multi link Macpherson strut suspension, which requires a lot more reinforcement than a trailing beam. It's easier to just buy a Festiva and enjoy both cars as they are.

Nice to see the pictures, and know there are Festivas being enjoyed out there still. Mine have been sitting too long, but I will have 100 miles of enjoyment Friday to remind me of what I have been missing. Can't believe Damkid is without a Festiva at least waiting for a swap of some kind!
