Here is the main connector for the B6T Capri harness, I salvaged this with about 3 feet of wire to connect up the hots etc. Note how I cut off and separated the wires that are used from the ones that are not, makes running them much neater.
Here we see the prepared connector plugged into the connector that goes to the B6T ECU and rest of the B6T engine control harness. The ECU will be attached for convenience to the metal bars pictured under the glove box. I'll zip tie them into place.
This is the wrapped wire routed behind the heater core out of the way and zip tied up to the drivers side of the dash footwell. Now is as good as any a time to list the wires going this way from the connector:
1. Black with red stripe- this is the starter trigger
2. thin Black with white stripe- ignition switched 12-volt + (ignition on and start)
3. thick solid blue- 12volt + battery (always hot)
4. thin light green with red stripe or pink -check engine light
5. two green with red stripe thick -to the fuel pump wires all these can be wrapped and routed together to the driver side footwell to be connected.
All the solid black wires are grounds I salvaged a mass ground connection to attach these too, and they go to the connection near the ecu, I'll also be making a good separate ground for the ecu case.
