Before I started the swap I did a few "mods" to tide me over. one was to the intake of the B3 I totally cut out the lower side to increase airflow, made the car sound really nasty, I liked it. This combined with a little ducting and a Beretta K&N might be good for a few ponys.
This is me with the future B6T recipient. a 1991 Festiva L I got for $500 good overall shape, only rust was on the leading edge of the hood that will be pitched anyway. It does have one big ding near the gas cap, and a few other dings, but I will have my buddy doing the body work. I also included this pic to show the small little shed that I will be doing the work in, I have a one car garage, that holds my Miata (also turbocharged) attached to my house, so project car work is done in this small shed. Hopefully this will show you don't need a ton of room to be able to do this sort of stuff, just a little something to keep the sun and rain off your head really is all you need.
This is a pic of my car with the stock airbox removed, just shows where the air comes into the hole that I made in the stock airbox, to show where you could run cold air ducting.
A pic of my cars engine stock B3, Look how filthy that engine bay is! We can't have that! Most of this crud came from a leaky cam cover gasket, This engine ran strong even with 153,000 miles on the clock. Of course, I didn't buy this car for the B3 so out it came, I donated it to the Festiva Motorsport B3 rebuilding projects.
