Ha! Jim had a flat tire on his bike! Doug and I spotted him and Anthony and Julie at the Duke/Duchess shop when we stopped for gas.
He was getting a tow and will be in Tallmadge until tomorrow, when a shop can get him a new tube. That was the story. Anthony and Julie were staying with him until he got the tow, so Doug and I took off.
I just got home a few minutes ago, and Doug was heading home to Illinois.
Also, apparently, Cris had a little problem with his 300ZX...
They can tell the story later.
Nice meet!! The video of us going around the traffic circle on the way to the park should be out Monday.

Well I just watched all the vids and the one of us going around the circle is pretty damn cool.
I just wish I didn't live in Egypt with my camel connection so I could post it before Monday from work.
Lots of pics and vids to share as soon as I can get them loaded....sorry it will take a while.

I'm a little hunk of tin, nobody knows what shape I'm in. I've got four wheels and a running board, I'm not a Chevy, I'M A FORD!
...continued from last night - Left Brian's at 7:40 or so... That was after getting Damkid and the busted 300ZX back to Brian's house... Watching the 500k Festiva pushing the 2 ton Z was comical, especially at highway speeds on 8. We made it home right before 1AM with 1 stop for gas and food... Instead of running the PA turnpike home, we ran 80 the whole way, which was pretty direct and it allowed me to run 80+ the whole way. Cold? You bet... It was alright as we left Ohio because we doubled up on clothing, I must've had 4 shirts on, plus my sweatshirt... But until we hit home, it was frosty! Anyways...
Getting ready to upload pictures now... I need to resize them all first and then I'll get a link up. I tried getting a decent shot of at least every car that was there, hopefully I didn't miss any.
The video that Amber took of the cars coming into the park wasn't that great. I'm hoping that the one of the circle that Damkid took got better.
Just to add another saga to the all ready documented stories of failed return trips!
I just got a call from 5.0zone.
He was having power drop off as he was headed up the mountains he had to cross when returning to NC.
I was afraid he had damaged his clutch when helping another member get his car to a safe location!
Nothing so dramatic!
His fuel filter had chosen this trip to start clogging.
He later told me that he had only changed it one other time, in 500,000+ miles!
So a stop at a local Mcparts place and 10 minutes of struggling getting the old one off and putting the new one on and he was on his way again!
Good in field diagnostics and repair!
