After the Florida meet a thread will be started for the 4th Annual Festiva Madness Meet in Raleigh, NC Oct 2, 2010


51 Festivas and 4 Aspires were at the 2009 meet and it is looking like the numbers will even go higher in 2010.

What is probably needed is for someone from the area to take the lead and post a new planning thread which should get more attention. Another info thread in the General Forum could get the word out to more people too. If you have any questions or concerns, it might be good to ask Brian how to go about this, or to get some help or ideas.

Just "taking the lead" was basically all I did to get Ohiostiva started way back when. FM will be more work due to the larger size, but it shouldn't be overwhelming. If in doubt, just keep things as simple as possible and not get too fancy.

Perhaps at some point Dean's wife Barbara could be involved as well, though I'd leave that to those closer to her. If she wants a role, then she should have it!

I'm still planning on going, and I'm available if anyone wants my half-baked half-century aged questionable wisdom.

Yes, The meet is on. I will be seeing Ladyblaster and Motoxpress next weekend at the SC mini-meet and we will start a thread afterwards.

Cool, I have never participated in the planning and execution of an event but am willing to try to help if needed.

This meet is on . same location as last year . we will be dedicating it to dean and the american heart association . we will also have patchs . and t-shirts . festiva madness will happen every year . I had promised dean i dont break my promise .. I hope every one will attend . and yes after barb and i get back from the sc meet we will get the new thread started .. Thanks to every one for every thing ....
