Seriously Dustin? I hope its not a family problem since I see you marked yourself, your wife and your sister as not coming Anyway, if you really can't make it we'd like to stop by on our way up or back (friday/sunday) and at least say hi, maybe grab a bite to eat.

Why is everyone deciding to back out. It makes me sad, I was hoping to meet everyone this year it is my first festiva meet and i first drive in any vehicle ( much less the festiva) for 12-13 hours.

I'm sorry to say that we can't make it this year. The Saturn isn't capable of making the trip anymore, and neither of our Festivas or my sister's are in any shape to make the trip either. Some of you have seen that I just got my new frame repair panels. I was going to have them installed this week, but the man responsible for repairing my frame took his vacation this week and didn't tell me (not like it was his responsibility), so I'm not too happy about things right now. I'll miss everyone. Please continue the Madness next year, I'll be damned if I miss it again!

Dustin, we will miss you but better to be safe. Are you sure that none of the cars can make the trip? Sharing one car may not be as much fun as a convoy, but would keep you from missing the meet entirely.

Hey, does anyone know some cheap place's to stay around the area?

^^ We are staying in the Microtel on Plainview Drive, about 5 mins from the meet. They have single rooms for $50/night, plus free breakfast in the morning and there are really nice. We've stayed in several throughout the southeast and all of them have been great. Oren09 is staying there as well, and maybe Danny, not sure though.

So now everyone has to change their number of Festiva predictions Well, we'll be there f'sho, but definitely not in a Fest, just keeping fingers crossed that wifey will let me bring the Camry, I'm tired of road tripping the Focus.
