i drove around the neighborhood once in my bp with straight up open header and people came out of the houses and told me to park it lol

The most nervous I've been lately was taking Lightning to have an exhaust put on it. I drove it 2.2 miles thru town, BP with open headers, 3 blocks from the police station.
Talk about light footing it!!

Ho'kay! I am heading out from St. Louis, MO Thursday, um, say about 2-3 pm. Its 839 or so miles for me. I am no hurry, going to enjoy the drive, unlike the 28 hour marathon drive to Texas 2 weeks ago to get the Black 92 GL Sport.
I would like to meet up with someone, if possible. I take 64 through Ill, Ind, WV, and Virginia till I hit 77.

It's not about records!
Dean would have been the first to tell you it's about having a good time with those who do show-up!
Implying that there might not be a next year is not an acceptable tactic.

Would I like to have more people come?
Sure, but reality is that people have lives and that sometimes has got to take priority over making a car meet.
They have to make the choice!
Especially those who have hundreds, if not thousands of miles, in a round-trip.
It can be both physically and financially taxing for some people.

How about providing and incentive instead?
