It was nice last time I was there but I don't know what kind of damage they received from the floods last year... We will probably only roll in late friday night and we are only staying friday night... Saturday after the meet we are going to roll north to edmonton to see my sister. But should still be good... Hopefully it isn;t too late, setting up camp in the dark doesn't sound like fun... Mind you the HID's should light up the area nicely... lol..

Wouldn't be the first time someone's driven that far for a Festiva meet :-)

well my attempt at rolling the fenders happened... I don't think I quite got the result I was hoping for but it should be a little better.. at least its not a sharp edge to cut into the tire anymore... I will find out if it works better tomorrow... gonna throw some plates on it finally...

You should have borrowed jmye's tool or rented an Estwood fender roller.

                    26 days to go.....

I just may be a little excited. I've been in touch with a couple of locals, one of whom I sold the former project car to and the other who bought some parts, who have said they are going to come. Jfro and Afro said at least one of them will be there and I may even be able to convince my daughter to bring hers out. Bolokid and littlehoe are definites.

Perhaps it's time to start a 'who's coming' thread.

Hey Ian, is the flooding gonna have any affect on the wedge pond/mt.kidd area?

Brad, as far as I know there are no issues this year at either location. We've had quite a bit of rain this week but it's already started to dry up. The long range forecast is looking not too bad. I have a friend that works in Kananaskis that I can ask for more details.

I was out that way 2 weeks ago, they had the floodgates wide open on Spray Lakes Reservoir and the Kananaskis lakes to try and keep the levels down in preparation for the rain we're now getting, and runoff isn't going to be a big issue this year since the snow is almost completely gone up that way. Most of this year's flooding has been caused by the southern part of our river system, the Bow itself is running a little high right now but not ridiculous. The big issue last year was the massive snowfall that winter that formed a perfect storm of sorts, with the also-over-seasonal May/June rain causing the snow to melt prematurely and, well you all know the rest.

Checked with my source and flooding is not an issue this year. Looking forward to a great day
