Fiberglass tablet in for radio
I'll be doing mine with a iPad mini one day. I have an ipad2 now but it would be too big. Can't even buy a flip out for $300 I could have a whole computer. This is my next system upgrade. And I will be able to read straight from the megasquirt and all the gauges will show on the pad through a wifi signal and the app called mobisquirt. It's never ending. I will just modify my center console so I can slide it in and out from the side.Last edited by Flyin4stroke; 02-15-2013, 07:45 PM.1988 Ford Festiva "Sonic" BPT g25mr MS2 standalone ecu, FOTY '11, Best Beater FMV, Fan Favorite FMVI

Yeah, magnets don't effect computers like they used to, back when they used tubes.
The way computers are these days, a magnet will do nothing unless you stick it near the hard drive, or if you still use one, near an old CRT monitor.
Magnets really only effect the mechanical components of a computer.
Everything in a tablet is solid state (Nothing mechanical)Last edited by TorqueEffect; 02-17-2013, 03:12 PM.1991 Ford Festiva BP (Full Aspire/Rio Swap) (337k Miles) (Around 95k Engine)

glove box = not my daily driver, so not neccessary, switches for what = i gots no switches, speakers = they will be relocated, dash vents and heater controls = got no ac system, don't need em, bolts hole = only gonna use sides and bottom mounting, if i need the top, i'll drill a hole where the top center bolt is and use that one

I really like the smooth transition from the instrument surround to the rest of the dash. Looks good.Any difference that makes no difference is no difference.
