b3 turbo questions

resuwrecked - what intercooler did you run on your set up? and I forgot to tell you that it was a nice set up and I may just do the same thing you did (weld a flange onto a aspire mani) or I see they sell a b6 mani+t3 charger combo for apx $300 on e-bay. My other thread asked he question about interchangable parts on the b3 / b6 engines and it seems that the mani is interchangable so I may be going that route. anyway I pick up the funbox on sunday ccasion7: and Ill get pics up. Ill drop it and put a fart cannon on it first (the fart cannon only because I have a few laying around it wont stay on because I want airflow not a bunch of noise, it will be swaped out for a better muffler soon). The turbo will come soon after and when I blow it up - a swap then turbo that and soo on. you've all been there

that b6 mani/turbo is for the twin cam miata motor, it will not work on a sohc b3 or b6.

i have a nice little turbo for you. its one of the turbos off of a jdm legacy twin turbo motor (IHI vj13 or vj14, i'll have to check)anyway, i also have all the hardware and fittings for the turbo PLUS both flanges, one to weld onto the aspire mani, and one to weld onto the downpipe. i`ll take $95 including shipping for everything, let me know if you are interested. its a small turbo, perfectly sized for instant boost on a b3.

aspire bp turbo

somebody want to know how much hp my ols green turbo bp aspire have... the last time i calculate the injectors duty cycle ... over 340hp and 24 deg of timing ( a lot for a 9 to 1 cr turbo engine on regular gaz... ) . burn michelin tires in the 3 gears... up to 145 km/h.

nice to know you are still around yvan. That is a lot of timing on pump gas, what size turbo?

i have a carbed 90 mazda 121 and i could not warrant changing over to EFI while keeping a 1.3 sohc motor in there... turbocharged carb motor tho that would be different... maybe not the best setup but carby's can be just as rewarding and easier to tune then EFI cars

old t-3 63 ex 50 int .... anyway , 9-1 cr and 91 octane fuel ... you need big intercooler and BETTER rod.

Update to my turbo project, took the pic a couple weeks ago, Intercooler is mounted, most of the 2" charge piping has been fitted, Greddy rs Flange is mounted, Vortech 12:1 fmu installed, Manifold is done and sandblasted awaiting ceramic by me tomorrow. msd btm on way, oil pan return fitting on way, fittings collected for oil feed, 2.25 stainless downpipe on way. have more pics to get off my phone. thanks for looking at my puzzle. www.Cardomain.com/aspiresvt http://memimage.cardomain.com/ride_i...0130_large.jpg
