I wonder how much power this little thing makes, then.

I pulled my old mustang with a snapper lawnmower once. That means my lawnmower has MORE than 225hp and 300ft/lbs right?

No scrap Escort GTs in your area? Probably better aftermarket support for the BP than the B8. I know headers are cheap from summit. VERY cheap for a ready to go unit.

i think im going with the b8 looks like a good install ment for the festiva, easy and no motor mount modification only just drilling a hole on the bracket. also looks like a b3 just with stonger things and a little diffre tlooking lol. looks nice thinking of going with that highly

BP01 ECU is not a DOHC Ecu. Just an FYI, if it came with a SOHC B8 and you just plugged in a BP ECU it will not run right at all. BP01 = B8

You might be half right on that, but I tried a B8 ECU in my BP powered festy and it ran just fine. It lacked alittle throttle response but other then that it drove just fine.
