        well the racing ones are in the car... so wil only take the valve cover out. but videos help allot. so i will be going next month to the tracks and i will take videos and pictures of the time

                          I've seen the VAF in different orientations on perfectly running cars before.

                          There are forces acting on the VAF from all different directions that "could" throw it off in stock orientation too. Accel, braking, cornering, etc.
                          Any difference that makes no difference is no difference.

                            Went through this on my bp. He decribed having power issues every now and then at a certain RPM and that could cause it. It did on mine.

                              A fuel pressure regulator will not increase the pressure (actually head) that the pump can produce. It can only limit it (i.e., reduce the pressure) and keep it constant. So it doesn't matter that you put your regulator at 100 pounds, it will only deliver the flow and head (which can be converted to pressure) the pump is designed for.
