You guys are really giving him too much grief! I can relate totally. I've worked different cams in and out of the junkyards. I did so today, in fact. Here's proof:

I can even tell you exactly what kind of cam it is: a Canon SD 1100is.
I've thought about installing a cam in my dash. I'd only need one cap, to put over it when I want to run low profile so no one knows it's there.
I'd call it a "dash cam." I'd get pictures, but I don't think it can take them of itself. I'll work on this. I could dismount my rear view mirror...
(BTW, that '88 LX gave up a lot of juicy parts!)
