Its just for looks... just get a broken intercooler and stick it on the bumper without running pipes. It will have the same effect and be cheaper, plus you don't have to fab up pipes

For 5 bucks more you can buy a knockoff DSM intercooler and piping, not bad.

ok, i know i'll get flamed for this, BUT putting an air inlet where it's shown can improve high speed performance and improve MPG.... reason being: the high pressure area just below your bumper can be used as a ram air effect, reducing pumping losses.....
