A bp in a Rio would be sweet but both of mine are wrecked . The right side axle will work on any g series and it will take the work out of finding the half shaft then making the bracket fit and all that !! It measures .25 shorter then the capri shaft and halfshaft combined so it will work .
New build on the way .

So are the Rio's good sources for replacement Festy axles?

If you have an auto festiva the axles from an auto Rio will fit . They are heavier and built a lot better .
If you are engine swapping your auto festiva then I would recommend these axles .
If you have a Manuel festiva the axles from a Rio will NOT fit.
If you have a festiva with a g series Manuel trans swap then yes the axles will fit and there is no more need for the half shaft that's so hard to find ..
The KIA Rio is known for ripped timing belts and are ready available at most yards ..
New build on the way .

Considering weight, a BP swap into a rio would help but doesnt have the same size smile as when its in a festiva. BP's went into sephias, the next size up car, and both examples are 4 doors.

LOL@stock market crash. there are so many rios at the local yards.

Some higher power guys may still want the intermediate shaft because it might be there for TQ steer issues. One way to try and combat this is to make equal length axles with a middle shaft. My dodge has this.

I was putting the info out for those that can't find one ! I guess it did seem like it was the cure . But torque steer is fun . Lol. I've had a b6t with stock trans and I know what torque steer is !

Oh your info is golden, I wasn't taking anything away from it at all! Anything to get more upgrades rolling and eating hondas alive is a great thing.

Thought about that myself . But I've been to busy seeing how bad the torque steer is . Wiring and intercooler plumbing and ill know . I will say the KIA mounts and trans are really easy ,just drop the crossmember about a half inch and drill new holes and remove the rear arch bracket and its in factory position .

Wonder if this would defeat custom G series mounts as well? Id rather remove a crossmember modify with holes and replace into position than trust my welding or pay $$$ (not that i wouldn't pay more than a handful of guys on here to make odds and ends for me)
