Yes. I couldnt find the thread where they said how it's supposed to work but I didnt spend a whole lot of time looking.

I'm curious if something could be made for the 4cyl trans's.... but I still think time and money is better vested elsewhere

I know I'm bumping a ridiculously old thread but I just noticed mfactory is making some new products for the g series box. Now if we could just get them to make a whole new case also lol.

Close ratio straight cut 3rd 4th and 5th gears

Close ratio helical 3rd 4th and 5th gears

4.933 final drive (there is a 4.6xx also available)

28 spline axles. Doesn't say for what vehicle though.

ya i noticed that when going thru their latest email but at these prices itd be good to know what, if any interchange there is between Probe, Mazda 3/6/Protege and Capri G trans there are before considering a buy. i'd LUV me some axles with RED boots but these are 28 spline and the Capri diff is 26.
here is a close rat set for 1992-04 Ford MTX-75. what is that? if it's a G series why don't it also fit a 91? any experts on these trannys out der?

I think the later g - series have slightly thicker gears but that's about the only difference iirc.

Only the ring/pinion gears are thicker

If we can get i believe a minimum of 10 they would make the axles. I believe the current axles are for mazdaspeed.

Contour, Cougar, Focus. that's what i meant. what cars was an MTX 75 found in. so that's a cross off. not a G. it's a 75!

A guy in poland is running a vw 02m gearbox with a 400bhp bp in a 323. Might not be possible in a festiva though. Had to cut up the subframe in the 323 to make it fit.

8600rpm with barely any flywheel mass on a BP. I'm glad I'm not his engine builder.

Isn't the MTX 75 a Gertrag box. My son had an SVT Contour and I had the pleasure of diving into that one. Maybe the SVT used a different tranny though.
