I'm not concerned about torque steer. But thanks for the input.

It's really bad with the stock trans and an F isn't a whole lot better, I'd love to feel a G!!!

When I had a BP/F series, the torque steer wasn't that bad, although the G series is better for that lol

i may be a little late to this conversation but i thought i would post my opinion since i have done a ton of work with the zetec and mtx75 trans.

why in the world would you even want to swap in a zetec in the first place? it makes no more power than a bp, would get worse fuel milage, and doesnt have forged internals unless you go with a svt engine so it will not hold as much power boosted.

not to mention the engine management is a nightmare with a focus zetec. the pat system would make a swap with out using stand alone a horrible pain. i have never worked with the engine management with a escort though, it may be simpler...

but still just put a bp in and be done with it. i have made 353whp with a zetec and that requires a fully built engine. a stock zetec bottom end will not take it, i made 220whp with a stock bottom end zetec and that is no problem for a bp.

^ Because there are lots of them, everywhere. (I'm not trying to outperform a BP). I'm not trying to use the stock eng mngmt either.
But actually I'm more intreseted in the Duratec 3.0 V6. As long as it doesnt have the RPM adjustable cam timing.
I have a BP/G series for my Festy now. I'm looking for more displacemant in a stock engine form.
ps. I bought a 1994 EGT,2002 ZX3 & 2006 Civic new off the show room floor. My fav Eng was def the BP.

^^if you want more displacement, why not go with a KL?

Hi Kid whats up. Its not that you have one already I'm not like that. If someone has got a good thing going.I have no problem copying it. Its just that the Duratec has 500 cc more displacemant. And there are quite a few cars that came with the 3.0. My real issue at hand is this.. If I cant get a LSD for a tranny that will mate to the engine. Displacemant/power is useless without traction. Obviously you have solved that in your car. I'm just looking for a little more cc's and from a common jy car. Make sense,or I'm just way out in left field? If so reel me back in. I'm easy to reason with
