Fest whats a 2g? drool
Not to thread jack but I have a B6 from a MX3 with only 63K. I would love to put it my 94 Aspire.
2g = second generation.
kingfish, the ECU looks for 2 things when activating the EGR: 1, there's a pintle valve sensor that detects the movement of the valve, verifying that the diaphram is good with the provided vac signal. 2, the ECU looks for a change in RPM when the valve is opened. now, if you can do both things, that will keep the CEL from tripping.

ok, so what b6 motor and head will i need to be able to keep my car OBD-II with the b3 electronics?
anyone got any ideas on this. i would also like to know if there is a b6 that would work with b3 electronics. Or, is it necessary to have the harness and ecu for the b6?

that's a different question, as you don't have to maintain OBDII status. idealy, you'll have a B6 vaf, injectors, ECU and engine and the rest can stay B3.
