After nearly 3 years of development, I am excited to let you guys know that I now have my own line of high quality turbo chargers & accessories, tho I will admit, the majority of the 11 turbos I have are intended fro larger cubic inch high HP applications. But I do have 4 specific turbos designed for 60-140 CI engines. I was led to this when I realized the majority of the turbo engines that we build involve a turbo that cost $4,000 or more, which is more than some people have in their engine or entire car or that matter. This kind of slams the door shut on the guy looking to work within a budget & still have some fun with his car. This led me to develop a turbo system that includes components made in the USA, several of which, local & even here at the shop. DEA turbo systems actually has many higher quality components standard than several of the other manufactures I sell as options. I feel this can give many of you the option of purchasing a quality turbo that will provide the results you are looking for & no longer consider junk yard or eBay turbos. Not that this applies to Festiva engines, I am currently in development of a large frame turbo, but this will be awhile down the road as the machining requirements & castings require a much larger investment. Finally the main reason for my post is to let the members know a professional quality turbo system is now available to you. I have talked with several other members with their turbo questions & have let them know that I will give members a reduced price. While my website is under construction, feel free to check out the shops facebook at Dickmeyer Automotive Engineering.S3010003.jpgS3010005.jpg

Festy 1.3 motors are 80 CI, so apparently he does have turboes for us too. The 1.8 BP and B8 motors would be about 110 CI, so that's covered as well. And yes Matt, we would like to know about availability of intake and exhaust manifolds, BTW.

ya, good work dosnt come cheap, if you want a $250 turbo system, you gotta build it at home using junk yard parts... if you want a well made turbo system that puts down good power and wont break every time you step on the gas, its gonna cost you WAY more than 250 bucks...
matt, you made 266HP on a b3? any vids or pics?

The turbo pushes nearly 29 pounds per minute of air with a 57mm compressor wheel & a 55mm turbine wheel available in stage 3 or 5. It's a T3 turbine housing. All my turbos are T3 or T4 housings. As I said before, my priority at this point is in the DT70 series & DT60 series, which are all T4 housings. Sometime next year I am looking to have a large frame line in T6 housings. But back to the DT04E 6042, I don't offer ceramic ball bearing at this time as there is no room in the bearing housing casting to machine the insert, so it is journal bearing only, but still high quality. I also don't offer polished/brushed compressor housing on any of the DT04E frames because I do that in house & it would just force me to increase the price. The DT70 & DT60 series I only offer them in polished/brushed compressor housing because it's my best offering & it needs to look it. As for price on the 6042, I would sell that to members for $240.PROPOGATE! AND FACILITATE!
