One guy said he would go $250, didn't make much sense to me as I had $269 just in jet hot coating. If you are serious about a turbo system that will produce results, give me a PM & we can go over the specifics.Last edited by Advancedynamix; 11-01-2012, 07:47 PM.Driving for me is neither a right nor a privilege. Sometime next year I am looking to have a large frame line in T6 housings. But back to the DT04E 6042, I don't offer ceramic ball bearing at this time as there is no room in the bearing housing casting to machine the insert, so it is journal bearing only, but still high quality. I also don't offer polished/brushed compressor housing on any of the DT04E frames because I do that in house & it would just force me to increase the price. The DT70 & DT60 series I only offer them in polished/brushed compressor housing because it's my best offering & it needs to look it. As for price on the 6042, I would sell that to members for $240.

I would estimate a system like that would require an 8-10K dollar investment on a small scale, less if you jobbed out the manifolds and bracketry and used your proprietary turbochargers (which I'm excited to see by the way!). I like that someone went all out with the B3.PROPOGATE! AND FACILITATE!

I have to say this, and this doesn't go for everyone, just for a select few. I have never seen a group of people so resistant to suggestions by someone who actually works for a living in the field in which the conversation is pertaining. You are the same guys that call a plumber to come & fix your plugged toilet & then stand there & fight with him about whether or not that monster turd in the toilet is really the reason for the plug. But maybe atmospheric pressure fluctuations causing disruptions in the plumbing vents system in the house down the road. It is more important to have the last word than the facts. Like the guy saying that a flow bench offers little usable information. Well where were you when I bought the dang thing?? If I knew it was a useless piece of equipment, I had spent my money on something more useful, like a semi load of pogo sticks. Or maybe when a customer comes in with a battery or charging system problem, I should sell my VAT 40 & just touch the terminals with my tongue & if it tingles, I will know the problem is elsewhere. COME ON GUYS!!! And you are crazy if you don't think that 3,000 HP isn't a ton, cause in my little world, you have to have a NHRA license to drive the car that it goes in. Have you ever experienced 0-60 in 1.2 seconds or less???? Believe me, I do wait for the day for the customer who wants 4,000 HP or more. But until that day, I will just have to be happy with my plateau. The reality is, the engines that I have built at that level are detuned to even a lower amount because the majority of my customers run on a 10 inch slick or a 275 drag radial that runs 7's & roll the tires the entire way down the track. We do things on these cars that I think is amazing! I have a down track back pressure reduction system that has shown to be worth as much as 500 HP & the reality is, at these levels of power, a dyno becomes worthless because you spin the tires & readings become worthless. But where some of you are wrong is, I am NOT Mr. Deep Pockets (some of my customers are). Try putting $20,000 in a car & then have a customer file bankruptcy. I deal with this ALL the time & sometimes in higher amounts of money. But this is what I do & it goes with the territory. I have been self employed for over 20 years & my goal is to continue to evolve with technology & stay at the forefront of my industry & still remain a small shop that can offer performance options to everyone. Whether you have a Festiva, Corvette or a $150,000 drag car.PROPOGATE! AND FACILITATE!

Matt, it's a shame your feeling the way you are with the members of this forum, I personally know when to shut up and listen because I know when I will learn great info from someone who has much more experience then I do, I hope you stick around on these forums but at least I'll understand why if you choose to leave again
1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?
