I got the Samurai kit because it comes jetted for a 1.3L I-4, not the 'stock jets', which I gathered are roughly right for a 2.2l engine (replacing the jets would cost about $60). Also, the kit comes with vacuum plugs, fuel line, and the $25 air cleaner.

drumnerd33, are you sure I'll need to rejet the Samurai Weber kit? Seems to be running perfectly...

BTW, I'm going to be installing my LM-1 Wideband O2 Sensor - probably this weekend, so I'll be able to get some real data =)

Got the adapter two days ago, and ordered the Sammy kit last night.

      Once again, can't wait.

Thanks for the info 95Compact, I would love to see some pictures of the finished product. Weber carb with a dickmeyer header, no cat, 2" exhaust must be sweet.

NP guys, Spike, I was really floored that it worked perfeclty 'right out of the box'. I haven't adjusted anything on the carb.

          I'll go grab some pics...

I also used the sami weber and worked right out of the box, but I was was crazy rich. I went from the 140 main to a 100 and the back of my car was black after about 1 month of driving, plus my mileage went down to about 32mpg once I rejected I was averaging 38 with 4 adults in it driving 80mph 140 miles a day

Depending on your elevation the jetting will vary but your primary main should be around 100 then your air correction will be larger in high altitude or smaller in low altitude. And you will also need to dial in the idle jets... If you notice any stumbling taking off from a stop then it's your idle jet. Best thing to do is buy a wide band o2 sensor and tune yourself or take it to a dyno shop and they can tune it on the dyno and it will be perfect.

Use photo bucket, then copy the link of the pic you want and paste it to the thread

Does a kit exist that requires no fabrication for the throttle bracket? That engine bay looks a billion times better with that weber on there. Once
I find steady work I'm buying one immediately.

I used my stock throttle braket with mine.
