Not having to pull extra weight indirectly affects engine power?

Only if you are "in the engine"

It is probably true that yes a smaller person could drive the same car faster. Obviously someone that's 150 pounds is gonna be adding a lot less weight to the car than someone that is 200+

You should tell the creators of auto correct on cell phones.
Everytime I post I have to read and double check and edit.
          So sometimes they slip by.

It's probably dumb of me to even answer your question , but the weight of the driver , or entire car for that matter has no influence on the level of power an engine produces, but only how the car responds with respect to the power to weight ratio

Yeah, thanks. I know. I'm always editing.

I figured reducing cargo weight would permit the engine to use its torque to push less weight.

Doesn't make power, but indirectly affects what power is there. What good are these pistons for extra ponies if you're unnecessarily pushing 400# in the driver seat?

I never see a fat China man drifting...

                      Agreed.
There could be a product thread.
And a seperate questions thread for technical support.

what the point of that post? you can't see that by reducing the friction and reciprocating weight, you allow the combustion power to be transmitted to the crank instead of being soaked up by friction or inertia????

I think what he's saying is he's too big of a guy to worry about unleashing extra hp.
Because it would be negated by his weight.

Finished off by his punch line

I never see a fat China man drifting...

Meaning if a fat man had more hp he wouldn't be able to drift.

It was supposed to be funny.

But what's funny is a festiva is 400lbs lighter than an aspire.
So theoretically if he had the festiva its likely he would free up that useable power and torque.
And it would be equivalent to a skinny man driving an aspire.

are there any place on the forum were all of the parts that you offer for the festiva are listed? not wanting to steal anything just wanting to know what all you have for the festiva and anything for the carb version? also any suspension upgrades? thanks and as the old saying goes you get what you pay for but i'd say the majority of people driving a festiva do so to save money. thanks
