It was about $150 for a very basic build when I bought my stuff. An engine failure has held me up or I'd like to think mine would be done now. I agree, though. The assembly is the most intimidating part, but that's the nature of the beast.Any difference that makes no difference is no difference.

The new board works for the most part, but apparently I lack the car skills needed to take this project to the next level. I've got all the code, I have a functional open source board - but I also have a test mule which drinks oil & coolant, with stock O2 sensor I cannot remove and starting issues. And missing timing mark.
