Did you pull it yourself? The yard that has the b8's doesn't allow people to pull the engine themselves. I'm assuming insurance purposes, and to make more money. I'd need to find out about that.
Yes I did pull it myself the yard did help me though with a loader they even let me drive my truck back there near the car so they pulled it and put it right in my truck for me.

The more I read about the B8 the more I'm leaning towards that swap. Seems much simpler than the B6D, since you don't have to make a mount.

I haven't put enough money put together yet, but I am getting close. And I guess they never check email because I never received a response. Hopefully I'll get some more cash soon because there are a couple near me for $150 that have just over 100k on them.
I am curious as to whether or not hydraulic rockers will be able to be swapped in with this head. Do you think there could be anything that could prevent it? or are all SOHC B series heads practically the same when it comes to rockers?

Sketch does this seem about right in comparison to your B6-me? I'm assuming yours is a bit quicker. I want to see just how restrictive this head is, but either way, I'm going to do the B8 swap. i'm just a bit curious.
