That's extremely reasonable. I've seen simpler and easier priced at double that, but you won't sell $400-500 manifolds here. It just won't happen IMO.

I will hopefully be getting up with you sometime soon.

This will probably end up running a person 250. I have about 90 in metal, core, and welding supplies. It'll have vacuum ports, but anything else like iac will be extra. Can also do custom throttle bodies. I'll have probably 8 hours into one.

Thanks. Hopefully it's pro quality by the time I'm done. Our poor festivas need some bolt on power adders, I'd like to see the quarter mile record set by a b6 engine. I'm still leaning towards a up facing throttle body, so that a 90 degree silicone coupler could be placed at any angle in the engine bay, making this a true universal intake

Rough cut, 3/4 inch radius, needs a little sanding but ready to go! This is what I've been waiting for. 6 revisions later.

My goal is to provide the best quality parts possible for our little cars, since there is zero aftermarket designed for them.

Alright. In my never ending quest for perfection, I cut that terrible plenum off and made a nice half inch plate to port radiuses in to. Now the intake will have beautiful straight runners and be tuned a touch higher than factory peak torque rpm because of the shorter runners. It's maybe 75 percent of the factory runner length. I also had the piece sand blasted. Welding tomorrow.

    Good work Brian!
I couldnt radius those ports like I wanted because they openings were on the curve. When I cut them the first time, I ate my weld up so I had to redo it. I'm thinking about redoing it and cutting the runner just a touch shorter to where the runner is straight. Is that going to kill low end torque like crazy? Maybe 2 inches longer than that manifold you sent me.

Hopefully I can get this sand blasted this week, and get the throttle plate on. Could anyone tell me if the miata throttle body has the same bolt pattern as the b6d throttle body
