hey I was talking to shadetree about my plans to swap a bp/hydro g from a 93 protege lx. He informed me that with the hydro g setup the clutch pedal is a lot stiffer and that I may not like it. I found this thread talking about this stuff so I decided to revive it

is there anyone who has driven a hydro g w/ adapter in a festiva who would like to give me some first hand details/review of it?

I think I'm the only one who had run it so far and I'm using a I'm sprung stage 3 clutch which is like a on or off not much in between. I don't think your going to feel much feel much difference. William felt it but car was not running at the time.

It is stiffer but not crazy stiff it's like the difference between e series and g series clutch feel.
The stiffness comes from the the hydro clutch arm being shorter. Witch is less leverage.
I was also comparing a stock style clutch to ricks "racing style clutch " so that there would make it stiffer too.
