g series questions

I am looking for a picture that shows what all i need to bash or cut to get my g series to fit. I need to know if i should pull motor and all or just pull trans. I have the mounts and all that i just need to know what to hit?

Notch the drivers side frame rail. Which may or may not need to be done depending on your motor mounts

But whereeeee haha I could put it in and check for myself but being as so many people have done it already being able to do the work before the trans even meets the car would be great

See, this is the conundrum. Because it depends solely on whether or not you're moving the engine forward.

Isn't it usually the passenger side that gets notched on that configuration?

Idk honestly I know if you use the bp crank pulley vs. the b3 you have to notch the passenger side

Right now it's bp E swapped and the alternator is super close but not touching do you think the trans location changes left to right? Thatd be a shame engine looks so good where it is

I see the issue. You can't test fit to mark for clearances if you can't get the engine to fit

? The engine fits it's mounted I'm easily confused sorry
