Does the hood come with pins or did you install them?

Here's a shot of mine too to get an idea... On Casper, I'll be running 4 pins instead of only 2, then I'll be removing the hinge setup... I've had bad luck with only 2, I don't need to rip any more cowl's up!

                  Are the Pins a necessity?

We always see pics of the exterior of the FMS hood, but never the underside (that I've seen). Will the standard, regulation, plain old boring latch me mated to it, or are we forced to look like boy racers (not that there's anything wrong with that, but some of us are a tad conservative)

There is no provision for the factory latch on the FMS hood. I wasn't crazy about useing hood pins either.

How hard would it be to mod the FMS hood to accept the factory latch?

i was thinkin to attempt this since i have a little bit of experience with fibreglass, do the FMS hoods come with pre-drilled holes for the pins?

I was thinking of taking the stock hood and removing the skin, then bonding the FMS hood to the stock frame so it would latch right. And it would help strenthen it!
