getting too hot possibly

I kind of wish I had kept the large yellowish T-connecter where it was and just used tips like the old light did (in the pic here):


but nonetheless, it works now and it wasn't the door sensors but was just the bulb was burnt out.

and as far as the one that keeps burning out, there's no telling. It could be getting too hot. I would just do some research on google?? I'm sure there's at least ONE out there that has had the same issue
