Ive been thinking about doing something similar using the EGT door trim. You beat me to it. My thought was to use the whole carpeted area below the black band. Pockets, speaker cover, and all. Then I would shorten the piece by triming off the back edge to fit the festiva door card. You would just have to do some unstitching and resewing then attach to the festiva door card. Mine are the same grey as my festiva interior. The carpet would cut down on the scuff marks. Only problem might be the door pocket hitting the seats or interfering with the seat belts ??

                    ^^^^
I actually had that mocked up in the Festiva although I was going to use the complete shortened Escort door panel.
Yes, the map pockets will hit the seat adjustment lever and also I didn't like the fact that the plastic trim on the top of the panel cut into my elbo/shoulder room.

                    Def. did look good tho

What about canibalizing the material and simulating on the festy panel with the shortened map pockets you made?

Or using the shorten carpeted piece from the EGT with the festiva map pockets. Didnt consider the top trim piece getting into shoulder room, makes sense though.

Even use the escort map pocket with the speaker trimmed off like he did and then just switch the carprt onto the festy card with out the plastic from the top

I would have likely done that, but the carpet from the Escort door panels is not large enough to cover the Festiva panels.
