BTW, the Montana is 1st generation 1997-2005. I got the seats from either a 2000 or 2001
The seats I used are the 2nd row seats. The fronts were the same shape, but are power seats and have some big controls on the side of drivers seat.

Looks like the Montana rail closest to the console will line up where the festy seats mount, but will need an extension added to make it to the rail by the door.
        Around a 2 inch extension

I am going to try and weld the Festy feet onto the rails, using 3/16 or 1/4 thick x 1 1/2 steel plate to make the extension and weld the feet onto it on the door side.

A little trail and error will be involved

Take a look how I put the Festiva seat pads on my Tib seats. I swapped the two front inners to move the seats a little out from the center. I changed the bacl inner ones from straight to crow foot. I fabbed the outer rear ones from a single small piece of steel rectagle strategically cut in two places. I welded the Festiva seat pads to a couple of small pieces of steel and then rivetted them on. They look factory. I believe you will be doing something very similar.

Solution for arm rest is use the upper seat back from the front seats as they only have inner arm rests.or remove the arm rest by door panel and use the front seat upper covers so no hole is where the arm rest was .
                  Just a suggestion

                    Good thinking 1ca!
As for the armrest's, they will remain untouched. No showing hole, no swapping covers. If need be, just leave 'em in the up position! lol

Rafe mentioned the removal, and here is why, for me, I will leave them as is.
                    1) Symmetry: Using the door pull as armrest makes that side farther away and your elbow has to reach over there to rest. I want both elbows resting the same! (my 1980 Bronco had both armrests AND door pulls just the way these will be)
                    2) The front seat covers dont have the lever to flip the seats forward for passenger rear seat entry. I could cut a spot in the fr. seat cover to use, but ima gonna just leave as is. Besides, thats less work! Remember ...Ima slacker! lol

BTW, everybody post away on this thread ...I will make a How To thread when I do this swap.

Ok now...I gots to get off here and get my butt to another JY where I can get some tore up Festy seats cheap to butcher up for the swap.
I dont wanna cut my Festy seats up as they are good shape, just need a cleaning. Might sell 'em on here after I do the swap

                      Alright! Back from the JY.

The sacrificial donor seats for the Montana swap :highly_amused: $30
Prolly could have gotten them for $20, as they is pretty BAD! But its an old jy, out in the country, muddy as heck, owned by some family, and i've been there many times. They know me when I walk in the door, and very friendly, so what the hay!

EDIT: I was going to get the red no rust no dent hatch with rear wiper while I was there, but to my disgust it had been dented!
Right on the corner. Looked like it had been hit with the fork from a forklift!

Are you looking for seat foot pads?
I have a bunch of them left over from my swap.
Some of them already have the rivets drilled out, welds cut, edges ground, ready for welding.

                            Wow. Learn something new everyday!
Apparently there is a difference in the seat foot bracket bolt pattern between 88-89 model yrs and 90-93 model years. Didnt know that. Only 3 of the 4 seat foot brackets are the same as my 88 and these JY seats. (90-93)
The 88 seat, rear console side bracket, curves out towards the console side, almost 90* to the rail, and on the later model jy seats, the bracket is straight with the rail.
I'll have to fab that one foot bracket.

Unless of course, Mr. Bravekosak has a left and right side rear bracket from an 88!

I will check to see if I have an extra set of both of them. I should.

I have an appointment on Wednesday in Lewiston.
                                I will be shipping then.
I hope my 5mm stainless ball bearings from the UK for the swoopies will be waiting.
The stock ones will not roll because of all the rust. The yellow grease is all dried out too. No wonder they are so difficult to pivot and make ugly noises.

I appreciate all those other members who helped me in my seat project ny cutting off these additional feet for me. I knew someone would need them someday.
