dr, did you see how I cut one piece of rectangular tube in to different spots and use one piece for each seat? It is strong, a perfect height and jas perfect mounting points for a perfect fit. Take a look at my outside rear mounts again. It would probably work for you since the seat widths are almost identical.Last edited by bravekozak; 08-15-2013, 08:05 PM.

There was talk, but no new post's .... Anyone hit the JY and get a set of these seats?
I got the welding wire, took some mearsurements, cut 4 pieces of tubing for the 1 3/4 height diff of the festy floor mounting, but I ran off and left them at work! I wont be back 'til monday to get 'em! Sheesh.... Now I have to wait 'til I gots 'em here at the house to finish.

I got to looking at the 90+ foot again and it dawned me to compare to see if I could use it on my 88.
Sure enough, both style feet are the same height AND the distance from rivet hole to bolt hole are close to the same. I'll just weld the 90+ foot on the angle of the 88-89 foot. Problem solved!
I need a spool of wire for my welder. It has fluxcore wire in it now, and a while back I bought a bottle of gas to weld with, and have the gas conversion kit. All I need is the wire and I can go at it.

Yeah, the pre-90 seats have the inner foot going up and in toward the center and the 90+ seats go back and down.

I know where there's one for sure. But it's going to be very expensive for shipping.

Dr., I deeply regret not finding the crowfeet. I searched, but they are probably at the bottom of some storage bin.
These are the only ones I found .Last edited by bravekozak; 08-10-2013, 03:54 PM.

I don't believe so. I am quite certain that you can install 88/89 seats directly in 90-93 Festivas. To go the other way, you need to take the rear inner floor brackets along with the seats. Can anyone verify if the studs are under the ebrake console in a 90-93?Last edited by bravekozak; 08-10-2013, 06:44 AM.

This came about because of the auto seat belts on the later models?Originally posted by drddan View PostWow. Learn something new everyday!
Apparently there is a difference in the seat foot bracket bolt pattern between 88-89 model yrs and 90-93 model years. Didnt know that. Only 3 of the 4 seat foot brackets are the same as my 88 and these JY seats. (90-93)
The 88 seat, rear console side bracket, curves out towards the console side, almost 90* to the rail, and on the later model jy seats, the bracket is straight with the rail.
I'll have to fab that one foot bracket.
Unless of course, Mr. Bravekosak has a left and right side rear bracket from an 88!

I will check to see if I have an extra set of both of them. I should.
I have an appointment on Wednesday in Lewiston.
I will be shipping then.
I hope my 5mm stainless ball bearings from the UK for the swoopies will be waiting.
The stock ones will not roll because of all the rust. The yellow grease is all dried out too. No wonder they are so difficult to pivot and make ugly noises.
I appreciate all those other members who helped me in my seat project ny cutting off these additional feet for me. I knew someone would need them someday.Last edited by bravekozak; 08-10-2013, 06:30 AM.
