the reason i am considering drilling it to pull it is because i dont have the money to blow on one of those that only gets used once lol

hmm.... i want one of those!!! for spot welding and dent pulling, but mostly for spot welding...

warlock i'm sure you can get those dents out enough to put bondo in them, it will just take some time. i had some really nasty spots on my RL 1/4 panel too (worse than yours) and w a prybar, hammer, and some time i got it good enough to bondo.

If your going to use plastic filler/bondo....sand with 80 grit apply bondo then sand with 120 then feather out to 240. Don't drill any holes bondo won't adherre to it any better.

bondo. Nothing sadder than seeing a big ole chuck of body filler
popped out from a half-ass repair

This is true, I would rather weld in panels. But may cheep to fiberglass as bad my car is by the end of summer it will be killed.

well another thing, where most of the dents are have no direct contact with the weather from the inside since its above the wells, but i do see your point.


but to freakin cold out to do anything this week and maybe next so a matter of time will get done.

Almost new Auto body stud welder (only used once.) This tool is far better than drilling holes and trying to use the 'screw-style slide hammer.'
