only reason to use aspire LCAs in a non-Aspire format is for the capri swap. al other swaps/mods use festy parts.

So, just to get this straight:
      1. I would get negative camber.
      2. They would bolt right in.
      3. And they would work better with my Aspire sway bar.

so in order to use the capri brakes i need to get the aspire lca? i read earlier that it may just be cause of the spring, what if i run ebay coilovers?

I have aspire lca with the aspire brake swap and lowered springs. They fit fine and no problems with the alignment.

If my logic is correct, when doing a g series swap, one should be able to use egt axles and midshaft, aspire lca's and egt knuckles. This would give bigger brakes reduce the need for the coveted xr2 axles.

Let me know if I'm right.

So the Aspire LCAs work with the Aspire hubs on the Festiva? People have said that this will cause the Festiva axles to pop out, is this true?

in the 5 swaps I've done i've allways used the stock festy control arms, and have never had an issue with them. I have heard of people having issues with the aspire ones.

ya if you use the aspire ones it puts the hub out about a 1/4 of an inch... and makes the axles pop out...

but if you used longer axles (escort gt) them maybe you could make it work...
